The first BIMP-EAGA Youth Bus Programme 2025 reflects the shared commitment of BIMP-EAGA member countries to empower youth people as future leaders of regional cooperation.  The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said that Brunei Darussalam is committed to youth development.

 

Speaking at the launch of the programme, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad also emphasised that youth are not merely beneficiaries of development but active contributors to regional progress, especially in a world shaped by rapid economic transformation and cross-border interconnectivity.

 

Launched on 23rd November morning, at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the first BIMP-EAGA Youth Bus Programme marked a significant regional milestone, bringing together youth from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines for a multi-destination learning journey across the sub-region.

 

The BIMP-EAGA Youth Bus Programme 2025 aims to deepen participants' understanding of the diverse strengths across BIMP-EAGA, including digital innovation, ecotourism, agriculture, creative industries and sustainable enterprises.
